We are pleased to announce that our virtual quiz on Thursday evening was a success and some much needed fun was had by us all. Marie was a fantastic host and would make an excellent quiz master if she decides to change her vocation in life! We are delighted to announce that we raised £1,510 for our chosen charity of 2020 The Children’s Heart Surgery Fund. We know how much strain charities are under at the best of times and even more so than ever at the moment. We raised £510 from the quiz itself and in addition, two people from the quiz who work for Lloyds banking group were able to match fund what we raised to a maximum of £500 each, giving us our total of £1,510. Thank you so much to all who took part and made the quiz the success it was. We know that this money will be greatly appreciated by CHSF.
