Emma Cartlidge
Emma has a joint honors degree in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of the West of England, Bristol. Emma has completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law in Bristol and the LLM Legal Practice Course at Leeds Law School.
Emma first joined the firm as a paralegal in 2015 and completed the LLM Legal Practice Course whilst working with the firm part-time. Upon completion of the course, she began her training contract with us in 2017.
Emma qualified as a solicitor into the firm’s Employment Law team in March 2019.
During her paralegal and solicitor training, Emma has gained experience assisting with a wide range of Employment Law matters including:
- Contract/Policy Drafting & Employee Handbooks
- Disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Discrimination
- Redundancy advice
- Managing sickness absences
- Termination arrangements
- Settlement agreements
- Early Conciliation
- Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal cases
Emma is an excellent communicator, well organised and is a valued member of the firm.
