Sarah is an Associate Solicitor and accredited mediator at Consilia Legal and is highly experienced having previously worked in family law for over 10 years.
Sarah is a member of Resolution which is an organisation setup for professionals who believe in a constructive, non-confrontational approach to family law matters. Sarah prides herself on the service she delivers and ensures she has a good rapport with her clients whilst remaining focused on achieving the best possible outcome.
Sarah prides herself on dealing with matters amicably whilst ensuring that any children’s needs are at the forefront of any discussions and arrangements reached. In some instances, court is of course necessary and Sarah will do everything she can to keep matters constructive and non-confrontational whilst achieving the best possible result for her client.
Sarah offers a free initial consultation to all new clients as Sarah believes it is important that both the legal advisor and the client have a good rapport with one another and the client is both relaxed and has confidence in the advice provided before they proceed.
Sarah aims to be transparent with clients in regard to the legal fees that are likely to be incurred and in certain circumstances, she is able to agree a fixed fee for the work to be carried out.
Meetings can take place either face to face, over the phone, by email or through Skype/Zoom. Depending on each person’s personal circumstances, Sarah will try to accommodate the client to ensure that regular discussions can take place to progress matters.

Sarah is also passionate about the area of law that she specialises in and has recently set up a full day seminar later to discuss parental acrimony; when parents lack respect for each other as people and parents and also about the benefit of parties attending a private Separated Parent Information Programmes and how courses of this nature assist legal advisors in advising clients in situations such as this. Sarah is committed to changing the view of other legal advisors to put the needs of the client and any children involved at the forefront of their agenda rather than legal fees and ‘winning’ or ‘losing’.
Sarah is married herself with two small children and her children tend to keep her busy on a weekend. Sarah likes to keep fit and runs regular with a running club and attends the gym as and when time permits.
Sarah is keen to get involved in local charities and due to run a 10K in November to raise money and is currently liaising with other local charities to raise money next year through bake sales, a walkathon and Kapow (5k obstacle Course).
